Prayers and good wishes were immediately sent to Indiana Pacers superstar, Paul George, after he sustained a serious leg injury during the Team USA scrimmage game on Friday.
LeBron James, Kevin Durant and others sent their well-wishes and prayers to the 24-year-old. Others followed suit, and also tweeted their shock after watching George's leg snap on live television.
"Man just landed and got a message about @Paul_George24. Made me immediately sick to my stomach!! Praying for u a speedy recovery homie!!!" James tweeted.
Blake Griffin also showed his support to the player.
"Prayers up to @Paul_George24 hate to see that happen to anyone." he tweeted.
Paul tweeted after the injury assuring fans that he will bounce back better than ever.
"Thanks everybody for the love and support.. I'll be ok and be back better than ever!!! Love y'all!! #YoungTrece" he tweeted.
The NBA tweeted commissioner Adam Silver's statement.
"It was difficult to watch the injury that Paul George sustained tonight while representing his country," the statement reads. "The thoughts and prayers of all of us at the NBA are with Paul and his family."
