The "Kanye West" brand is powerful, and could potentially be used to push just about anything, as the rapper has a pretty huge and loyal fanbase. Yeezy, of course, knows this and has put a stop to a company that planned on making some bread off the rapper.
On Friday, Kanye moved for summary judgment against the creators of "Coinye," a digital currency using West's image. The company failed to respond to Kanye's federal court suit back in January, but has officially put a stop to the start-up.
Only 2 of the 12 accused parties have spoken up addressing the matter on their website, saying "COINYE IS DEAD. You win Kanye."
